ADI benchmarked the energy use of the complex and analyzed the buildings’ energy data. ADI determined building balance points and determined the presence of simultaneous heat and cooling occurred in some buildings of the complex. ADI completed an on-site system evaluation of the energy systems such as lighting , HVAC, cogeneration and the building automation system. ADI installed trending devices on AHU’s and evaluated the heating and cooling condition the systems. Based on this service, UMass will determine its next option for energy efficiency. |
