Energy studies were commissioned for the Quittacas Water Treatment Facility in New Bedford in order to identify cost-effective energy conservation measures (ECMs) that would qualify for funding under DOER’s Energy Conservation Improvement Program (ECIP).
ADI provided scoping audit and analysis to the City of Worcester WTP. By developing and considering a list of energy conservation measures that have the potential to meet the cost-effectiveness criteria of the program, and that may be eligible for funding under the ECIP, ADI had recommended two ECM’s to be prioritized in order for the WTP facility to yield significant energy savings. First ECM would be the Replacement of Boilers in the main building. The second ECM would involve Energy Management System Installation and Retro-Commissioning .
