Medical Examiners Building

Suffolk County Medical Examiner was on the county’s list not for being the most energy efficient building but rather the biggest energy hog. The County tried various strategies to reduce consumption but the only thing that would work was to hire an energy services company to complete an extensive energy project.

The County awarded the contract to Select Energy. The $5 million project includes every conservation measure imaginable. Select Energy hired ADI to develop the proposal capture strategy that included: customer need analysis, technology reviews such as hybrid cooling plant, cogeneration and heat recovery.

ADI worked with Select Energy engineers to develop the savings and pricing for all energy measures and developed various program options. ADI supported SESI in developing its proposal preparation and interview process.
