Energy studies were commissioned for the different buildings of the City of Gardner in order to identify cost-effective energy conservation measures (ECMs) that would qualify for funding under DOER’s Energy Conservation Improvement Program (ECIP). Under this program, ADI provided energy audits to the Gardner Senior Center, City Hall, the Greenwood Memorial Swimming Pool, the Central Fire Station, and the South Gardner Fire Station.
Not only did ADI provided recommendations to various ECM’s that would yield significant energy savings to the City of Gardner, but also recommendations to optimize the operational efficiency of their building systems. ADI also presented the City with different utility purchasing savings opportunities such as energy procurement, demand response and forward capacity payments programs.
